The Tasting Room at Mistral Ranch

You will love driving to our tasting room near Lyle, Washington. It is the scenic heart of the Columbia River Gorge! The spectacular drive culminates with arrival at the winery on Mistral Ranch, perched at 1000 feet above the river, overlooking the entire AVA. The view is second only to the wine!

Hike to Hannah’s Bench vineyard, picnic overlooking the Gorge, or just kick back in our picnic area with its “Gorge-best” view of Mount Hood. Bring a kite for the typical windy day or go for a wildflower stroll. It’s easy to lose an afternoon here at the Mistral Ranch. Wine is available by the glass in addition to the Tasting Room sampling. The tasting Room is a very personal and casual place (not fancy), but presents a real, in-the-winery experience. We prefer this approach to the “Disneyland” of, say, Napa Valley.

Our neighborhood is the ideal destination for a day of tasting. This is where the new breed of Columbia Gorge Wines is showcased. We recommend including Domaine Pouillon, Cor Cellars, and Syncline to fill out your day. And, plan on dinner at the Lyle Hotel just down the hill.
